FAQ
Questions, answered
From service details to pricing and timelines — clear answers before you get started.
What areas do you cover?
We provide flooring and carpentry services throughout Leinster, including Carlow, Kilkenny, Kildare, Laois, Wicklow, Wexford, Dublin, Meath, Louth, Westmeath, Offaly and Longford. We are based in Pollerton Big, Carlow, and travel across the region daily.
What types of flooring do you install?
We install solid wood, engineered wood, laminate, parquet, herringbone, chevron, LVT and SPC flooring. We also provide floor sanding, restoration and repair services for existing timber floors.
Do you offer custom carpentry?
Yes. We provide bespoke carpentry including fitted wardrobes, alcove units, media walls, shelving, under-stair storage, skirting and architrave fitting, staircase renovation and custom woodwork.
Can I get a free quote?
Absolutely. We offer free, no-obligation quotes. Send us your room dimensions and the type of floor you are considering through the contact form, or call 085 143 3969 and we will arrange a visit.
Are you insured and qualified?
Yes. We are fully insured and have over 15 years of experience in the flooring and carpentry trade, with a five-star rating across our public reviews.
How long does a flooring installation take?
Most single rooms are completed in one to two days. Herringbone and parquet take longer because of the layout precision involved, typically two to four days per room. Floor sanding and restoration usually takes two to three days including drying time between coats.
Do I need to remove my furniture first?
We ask that you clear small and fragile items. Our team will move larger furniture as part of the job and reposition it once the floor is finished and ready to walk on.
Can you match new flooring to my existing floor?
In most cases yes. We colour and grain match new flooring, staircase cladding and thresholds to your existing floors so that the finished result reads as one continuous scheme.
Do you fit flooring over underfloor heating?
Yes. Engineered wood, LVT, SPC and most laminate ranges are compatible with underfloor heating. We will advise on the right build-up, underlay and acclimatisation for your system.
What does it cost?
Cost depends on the material, the room size and the amount of subfloor preparation needed. Laminate is generally the most affordable option and solid hardwood or intricate parquet the most premium. Every quote is free, itemised and given before any work starts.

Still deciding? That is fine.
We are happy to talk through options with no commitment. Most people who call us are at the just-wondering stage.
