What we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. Written in plain English.

What we collect when you contact us
When you submit the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, phone number, county, flooring type, approximate area and message you choose to give us, plus the page you submitted from. We use this for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work.
- We do not add you to a marketing list.
- We do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.
- We keep enquiries only as long as needed for the job and our records, then delete them.
Who processes it on our behalf
Enquiries are delivered through Cloudflare (website hosting and form delivery) and an enquiry management service operated on our behalf, which forwards each submission to our email inbox. These providers act only on our instructions.
Website analytics
We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. This is deliberately privacy-light:
- No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
- We record the page visited, approximate location (country, region, city), device type, referring site and anonymous interaction events such as which buttons were clicked.
- Visitors are grouped using a short-lived identifier and a daily-rotating one-way hash. It cannot be reversed, and it cannot link your visits across different days.
- Your full IP address is never stored or passed on.
Cookies
We set no tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores one small preference in your own browser — your choice of light or dark theme — which never leaves your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email milaflooring@gmail.com or call 085 143 3969 and we will deal with it promptly and free of charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
